About the role

  • The Communities Project Coordinator plays a key role in delivering fast, reliable internet to single-family and multifamily communities served by United Communications.
  • Works closely with the Communities Project Manager to coordinate project activities, maintain project trackers and schedules, communicate updates to internal and external stakeholders, and ensure projects are completed safely and on time.
  • Involves frequent fieldwork to support project execution, verify and quality-check progress, and coordinate with field teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project progression and timely delivery.
  • Schedule project meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute meeting notes and follow-up action items.
  • Conduct extensive fieldwork, including site walks to track progress, meet with field teams, perform quality checks on completed work, and help mitigate issues.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a project coordination, administrative, or support role; telecommunications or technical experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting field operations, construction, or engineering teams.
  • Experience with fiber installation and repair
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities in a team-based environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with project tracking tools.
