About the role
- Lead the accounting team and ensure that projects are recorded in compliance with financial regulations
- Maintain oversight of all accounting processes and drive their continuous improvement
- Responsible for accurate accounting in accordance with commercial and tax law requirements
- Coordinate invoicing and review incoming and outgoing payments
- Serve as the primary contact for internal departments, external service providers, partners, insurers, as well as auditors and tax advisors
- Timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Requirements
- Completed commercial training or equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in accounting / finance, ideally in project-based business
- Initial practical leadership experience
- Confident use of MS Office and a strong affinity for ERP systems (ideally experience with Deltek Workbook)
- Structured, solution-oriented working style and the ability to maintain an overview even during dynamic project phases
- Strong communication skills, team orientation, and sense of responsibility
- Very good German and English skills
