About the role
- Manage key project contracts (e.g., construction contracts, service agreements, lease agreements)
- Monitor supplier and subcontractor contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed terms
- Identify, monitor and mitigate financial and contractual risks in coordination with other departments (e.g., Legal & Compliance, Accounting & Financial Control)
- Responsible for the development and implementation of a contract management tool for renewable energy projects (lead the design of a scalable contract management tool for renewables and oversee end-to-end implementation)
- Define and enforce a comprehensive metadata model and design configurable workflows to track contract-specific obligations and milestones
- Establish data quality controls
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Law or a related field
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in commercial asset management, preferably in renewable energy (solar, wind)
- Solid understanding of key contracts: development services agreements, land lease agreements, purchase agreements, EPC contracts, O&M agreements
- Ability to extract relevant information from such contracts for the contract management tool
- Knowledge of risk management and implementation of risk mitigation strategies
- Strong knowledge of process management
