About the role
- Project leader of a cross-functional team with team members sitting in both the US and China, charged with leading the US launch of an Asian range imported from China
- Lead communication with R&D and Chef resources based in China as well as the US-based cross-functional team
- Leverage previous experience importing products to expedite the launch
- Lead the team to launch OTIF so UFS can capitalize as quickly as possible on the massive Asian growth opportunity
- Engage with Local Asian Trade Partners/Distributors and Operators to develop RTM plan
- Stakeholder management
- Engage with marketing to support asset development
Requirements
- 4 year College Degree or 2 years + Culinary Degree
- 2+ years of experience in foodservice sales
- Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese
- Product commercialization experience
- Project Management experience
- Additional experience in the Culinary industry a plus!
- Proven track record of developing strategic relationships with decision makers both internally with key stakeholders and project team members and externally with operator and distributor customers
- Negotiation skills and strong business acumen
- Passion for driving results with strong experience in the food industry.
