About the role

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the territory across all categories and channels.
  • Ensure brilliant basics in market execution, including visibility, availability, and activation as per company guidelines.
  • Manage and develop distributors to ensure smooth operations, timely billing, and adherence to company policies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and wholesalers to drive loyalty and business growth.
  • Implement channel-specific strategies and ensure infrastructure readiness for growth.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and provide actionable insights to improve territory performance.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, legal, and administrative guidelines within the territory.
  • Provide accurate and timely reports on sales, execution, and market conditions to the Area Sales Manager/ RSM.
  • Address and resolve customer or distributor issues promptly to maintain business continuity.

Requirements

  • Graduate/MBA preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, preferably in FMCG
  • Strong ability to implement plans and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to influence and negotiate with customers
  • Skilled in building and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Understanding of digital tools and trends to enhance sales effectiveness
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the territory
