About the role
- Accounting of the complete financial ledgers, including subsidiaries
- Independent handling of accounts receivable, accounts payable and fixed assets accounting
- Preparation and review of payment runs and monitoring of payment transactions
- Account clearing and reconciliation, including intercompany reconciliations
- Group consolidation
- Handling of complex accounting issues
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Point of contact for tax advisors and auditors
Requirements
- Completed qualification as a certified accounting specialist (Bilanzbuchhalter) or tax assistant
- Several years of solid, qualified professional experience in financial accounting
- Experience with complex accounting and tax matters
- Attention to detail, accuracy and a structured working style
- High degree of independence and personal responsibility
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Proficient user skills in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Knowledge of US GAAP is an advantage
- Fluent written and spoken German and English
