About the role

  • Design, develop, and maintain Drupal websites, custom modules, and themes.
  • Collaborate with Architects, Designers, and Business Analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Optimize site performance, security, and scalability.
  • Integrate Drupal with third-party services, APIs, and enterprise systems.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior Developers.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, daily stand-ups).
  • Stay updated with the latest Drupal community developments and contribute to open-source projects where relevant.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Drupal development (Drupal 8/9/10)
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, Symfony, Composer, and Drupal APIs
  • Experience with front-end technologies: Twig, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (React/Angular is a plus)
  • Solid understanding of databases (MySQL, MariaDB) and caching technologies (Redis, Varnish)
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices (Docker, CI/CD, GitLab/GitHub pipelines)
  • Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG), GDPR, and security best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and ability to work in a multicultural, distributed team
  • Experience in EU/public sector projects would be a plus
  • Knowledge of Drupal hosting solutions such as Acquia Cloud, Pantheon would be an advantage
  • Contribution history in the Drupal community would be nice to have
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language (written and verbal).
