About the role
- Carry out a comprehensive, multidimensional assessment of the current EMIS in Burundi
- Conduct national-level interviews with key producers and users of education/school statistics
- Analyze current data collection processes
- Prepare the diagnostic report on the statistical system for the education sector
- Provide the technical support required to the national team responsible for developing the national EMIS development strategy document
Requirements
- Hold a university degree of at least Master's level (Bac +5) in education sciences, evaluation, statistics, economics, or related disciplines
- Have at least 10 years' experience in providing qualitative and quantitative support and analysis in education
- Have at least 5 years' proven experience in evaluating and developing EMIS strategic plans
- Have experience assessing and implementing DQAF (Data Quality Assessment Framework) or evaluating data quality in African contexts
- Have experience with decentralization of information systems and developing interfaces/dashboards at decentralized/subnational levels
- Have a good command of French (spoken and written)
