About the role
- You will own and nurture a pipeline of funding opportunities by offering a solution that solves a huge pain point for brands and retailers and beats alternatives head-to-head.
- Closing new business: Own the client relationship throughout the entire sales cycle - from the first point of contact through to agreement activation.
- Target outreach: source leads via multi-channel outreach campaigns (Cold calling, email and LinkedIn) to Founders, CEOs and CFOs of Europe’s fasted growing brands and retailers.
- Work with our Underwriting Team to tailor funding offers to our prospects’ unique business requirements
- Become a subject matter expert on the wider working capital funding market and how other options compare with our product.
- Provide accurate forecasting predictions and leverage our CRM system effectively.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of sales-related systems, processes and business practices by sharing recommendations to improve efficiency and capacity.
- Act as the voice of our customers, feeding back insights into the product development cycle.
Requirements
- 4+ years of demonstrable experience hitting ambitious targets in commercial closing roles in the B2B technology or financial services industries (lending experience preferred).
- Experience operating in a fast-paced, quota-carrying environment, driving both existing and incremental revenue growth through proactive account management, strategic upsells, and cross-sell initiatives.
- Consistently exceeded targets by leveraging data-driven insights to enhance customer engagement and retention.
- You are interested in the high-growth E-commerce ecosystem.
- You are a natural people person: charismatic, emotionally intelligent and able to adapt your communication style to your audience.
- You have excellent analytical skills tempered with a sense of commerciality, financial acumen and strong administration skills.
- Working knowledge of a CRM such as HubSpot or Salesforce would be ideal.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
