About the role

  • Managing the day-to-day business related to our sourcing partners
  • Support strategic projects to enable EOM to achieve its high growth ambitions
  • Reporting to the Director Global Sourcing
  • Manage and grow the day-to-day relationship and off-take agreements with our germanium suppliers
  • Develop new business opportunities in recycling of germanium out of non-customer waste
  • Manage the execution of the commercial agreement with our strategic partner
  • Contribute to the continued ramp-up of our partner’s production facility
  • Develop alternative western sourcing options for EOM GASIR materials
  • Support the development of new strategic sourcing projects
  • Manage the Global Sourcing back office function
  • Manage the S&OP / Budgeting / Forecasting process
  • Develop and implement compliance projects related to sourcing activities
  • Support other strategic business development projects related to EOM’s diversification strategy and development.

Requirements

  • A Master’s or PhD degree in Business Economics, Science or Engineering
  • 2-5 years of prior experience in a techno-commercial or business development role
  • Good project management experience
  • Teamwork oriented and ability to collaborate across functions
  • Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Ability to perform in-depth business assessments and translate into clear recommendations
  • Problem solving mindset with strong negotiation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to operate effectively in a multicultural, international setting
  • Fluent writing and speaking in English, knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus.
