About the role
- Ensure the safe, efficient, cost effective and a highly productive work environment
- Support the commercial engineering projects of the business both inhouse and during contractor execution of work at customer facilities 7 days a week
- Provide technical expertise and direction to assist clients
- Define maintenance processes and develop new engineering procedures
- Build and maintain customer relationships based on existing customer list
- Collaborate with regional sales and engineering directors to manage customer required engineering service work
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or a similar field is preferred, but equivalent years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree
- 5 - 10 years of project engineering experience in the Chemical Industry with Engineering Sales and/or Project Management experience preferred
- 5 -10 years of related industrial experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines with competing priorities
- Familiarity with Project Management principals
- Excellent proficiency with the use of Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Expertise in SAP
- Ability to travel frequently- 30-50%
