About the role
- Gain exposure to an innovative global materials technology business
- Oversee and support contractor activities
- Handle projects supporting communication between maintenance, contractors, and operations for initial engineering trials
- Collaborate with experienced process engineers on the installation phase of larger projects
- Monitor timelines and progress of equipment installations to meet scheduling demands
- Develop recommendations for current operations and future development
- Demonstrate data driven problem-solving methodology
- Complete a designated improvement project
Requirements
- Current pursuit of a mechanical or chemical engineering degree with at least one year into the major concentration from an ABET accredited program
- Ability to apply technical math skills to solve real world problems
- Self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, report writing skills, and presentation abilities
- Experience with contributing to the creation of reports, dashboards, and presentations
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Knowledge of AutoCAD
