Lead monthly forecasting reviews, including orders, sales, operating income, and cash flow performance
Generate and present comprehensive financial reporting packages; advise program managers and technical leads on contract financial performance and variance analysis
Conduct month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and cost reconciliations
Develop and maintain detailed monthly forecasts for program revenue and costs
Drive regular reviews of key financial metrics with program and finance teams to ensure accountability and transparency
Implement, monitor, and analyze program budgets and schedules, identifying opportunities for process and cost improvements
Consolidate and organize cost and schedule data for internal monthly program reviews and executive presentations
Participate in internal and external financial/schedule meetings, providing clear and concise updates on program performance
Foster strong cross-functional relationships to enhance collaboration, information sharing, and problem-solving.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 7 years in accounting, finance, or related functions
Minimum 1 year of people leadership experience
Proven experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and performance management
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
Previous experience in the defense industry
Strong strategic thinking with the ability to execute tactically and deliver results across multiple organizational functions without direct authority
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to identify risks, model financial impacts, and recommend actionable solutions
Excellent communication and presentation skills—able to convey complex financial concepts clearly to diverse audiences
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with financial systems and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
Demonstrated leadership capability with experience managing initiatives in fast-paced, matrixed environments
Proven ability to collaborate across geographically dispersed teams to achieve common financial goals.
