Payroll

• Oversee end-to-end payroll operations across UK and international entities
• Ensure all payrolls are processed accurately, on time, and in line with internal controls and local compliance requirements
• Act as the escalation point for payroll issues, resolving complex queries efficiently
• Own payroll systems, including ADP and internal platforms, ensuring effective use and issue resolution
• Identify risks early and implement corrective actions
• Improve system utilisation to increase automation and reduce manual intervention
• Lead payroll cycle communications with Regional and Gym Managers
• Communicate payroll discrepancies, including overpayments and underpayments, with appropriate resolution plans
• Review payroll outputs across all entities to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Support the Payroll Manager with Support Office payroll where required, maintaining strict confidentiality
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk
• Streamline payment processes and reduce dependency on manual approvals
• Improve payroll handling for international leavers, including the US
• Ensure promotions and pay changes are processed accurately and on time
• Manage and develop the payroll team, including training and upskilling in Excel, Power BI, and payroll processes
• Partner with Finance, HR, and operational teams across all regions
• Act as a trusted point of contact for payroll-related matters
