About the role
- Deliver weekly virtual sessions to guide students through their Nanodegree learning journey
- Meet virtually with students for group work, activities and short lectures
- Respond to students' technical questions and check in on their progress
- Provide world-class technical support and mentorship to learners
- Use creative, innovative approaches for knowledge transfer to a younger group of students
- Proactively support students with empathy and simplified, clear terminology
Requirements
- The passion, patience, energy, and empathy to interact with young students and get them excited about their future in tech
- Experience teaching technical concepts and public speaking
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence to lead a group of young students
- Student-oriented mindset and focus on understanding their problems
- Existing tech network and experience in technical conversations & discussions
- Flexibility at their current job to take this challenge as a part-time, external contractor
- A positive personality who can build trust and confidence among the students
- Resident of Egypt
- Proficiency in English and Arabic (spoken and written)
- Experience with Cybersecurity Foundations, Defending and Securing Systems, Incident Response, Cryptography, Firewalls, Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Infrastructure Security, Access Management, Application Security, Web Penetration testing
