Engineer

• Commission fire alarm and associated life-safety systems in line with specifications, regulations and British Standards including BS 5839, BS 8629 and BS 5266.
• Conduct functional and integration tests across fire alarm, evacuation alert, emergency lighting, disabled refuge and related systems.
• Carry out panel setup, device addressing, system configuration and software/firmware updates using manufacturer-specific tools.
• Develop and implement detailed cause-and-effect programming.
• Verify sequences using simulations, live scenarios and systematic testing—ensuring every input and output behaves exactly as intended.
• Validate wiring, device placement and system configuration against design drawings and specifications.
• Diagnose faults and collaborate with installation teams to resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Lead witness testing with clients, consultants and stakeholders, resolving queries in real time.
• Produce accurate commissioning reports, test certificates, cause-and-effect matrices and full compliance documentation.
• Provide clear demonstrations and end-user training during the handover phase.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with legislation, best practice and company procedures.
• Offer technical support, advice and strong communication throughout commissioning and acceptance stages.
• Support the Service Delivery Team with periodic servicing and urgent callouts where needed.
• Diagnose and rectify faults across fire alarm, emergency lighting and nurse-call systems.

Systems Commissioning Engineer

Field Engineer

• Carry out planned service and maintenance on fire alarms, emergency lighting, nurse call & related life-safety systems
• Respond to emergency call-outs and non-routine service visits
• Identify faults and deliver smart, safe and compliant solutions
• Maintain clear communication with our Service Delivery Team and customers
• Ensure all paperwork, reporting and certification is completed accurately and on time
• Manage your own equipment, stock levels and vehicle
• Support colleagues and offer technical guidance when needed
• Participate in the on-call rota to keep customers protected 24/7
• Work to BS5839:1 and other relevant British Standards

Fire Alarm Service Engineer

Sales

• Work with the business development team to develop customer relationships and long-term sales through face-to-face meetings and product demonstrations.
• Maintain and develop existing customer relationships, driving opportunities to broaden spend.
• Promote sustainable packaging alternatives and support customer ESG goals.
• Work to GP targets and weekly KPI’ activities to retain sales focus.
• Take responsibility for any customer satisfaction and identify/implement ideas for on-going improvements to the customer experience.

Area Sales Manager

• Delivering on-site installation, servicing, and rollout of monitoring systems across NHS hospitals and healthcare environments.
• Providing hands-on training to clinical staff, enabling confident and effective use of the technology.
• Acting as a trusted partner to NHS Trusts: nurturing relationships, providing support, and encouraging adoption across multiple wards.
• Conducting system trials, audits, and scheduled site visits to maintain performance and compliance.

• Commercial Air Conditioning &amp; Ventilation Engineer role covering London &amp; Home Counties; mobile role with planned maintenance, fault finding, and reactive repairs on a wide range of HVAC systems; liaison with customers on-site; participating in on-call rota for out-of-hours support; documenting work via mobile field system; pressure testing and recharging refrigerant circuits in line with F-Gas regulations; replacing defective components and upgrades; checking and adjusting system control parameters (basic BMS knowledge required).

Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Engineer

Manager

• Develop RFQs from initial design concepts for subcontractors and suppliers
• Organise and lead site visits with clients and suppliers
• Produce accurate project costings and delivery plans
• Lead client discussions and maintain strong professional relationships
• Arrange and chair project handover meetings to ensure smooth transitions

Pre-Construction Manager

• Service, install, and troubleshoot portable fire extinguishers at customer construction sites

• Travel from site to site with door-to-door travel paid

• Work independently and as part of a wider field-based team
• Once trained, join a rotating on-call roster (1 week every 6 months)
• Start in extinguishers and be fully trained into alarm system servicing and installation
