About the role

  • Act as a Scrum Master for Agile teams, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Remove impediments and ensure the team remains focused on delivering sprint goals.
  • Promote Agile principles and best practices within the organization.
  • Coach teams in Agile methodologies and ensure adherence to Agile processes.
  • Utilize Azure DevOps for backlog management, sprint planning, and tracking of user stories and tasks.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure the effective use of Azure DevOps for project management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain compliant processes and practices (e.g., FDA/CFR, GxP, EMA, MHRA, EU GVP, HIPAA, GDPR) as applicable for the business.
  • Capable of earning trust and influencing stakeholders without formal authority to required results.
  • Flexible, collaborative, and able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously to maintain teamwork and optimal project flow.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration among cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and transparency.
  • Facilitate discussions and decision-making within the team.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and guide teams in implementing changes.
  • Monitor and report on Agile metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that may impact project delivery.
  • Responsible for delivery and success of assigned projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or commensurate experience.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certifications.
  • 5 - 8 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile software development environment.
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps for backlog management and project tracking.
  • Knowledge of GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, GDPR, and GAMP 5 and experience in applying compliance principles is a plus.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
