Administrative Assistant

• Compile, analyze, and reconcile financial data to support annual budgets, expense tracking, and reporting.
• Review and process obligating documents, invoices, travel vouchers, and purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain accountability for assets and property by updating records in federal inventory systems and coordinating proper disposal.
• Support the Administrative Officer in developing policies, reports, and business plans that align with USDA and federal requirements.
• Coordinate performance management processes, including appraisals, quarterly reviews, and compliance with mandatory requirements.
• Track and manage personnel security documentation, including background investigations and re-investigations.
• Provide technical and analytical support to leadership for planning, reporting, and decision-making.
• Draft, edit, and prepare reports, correspondence, and other communications for management and stakeholders.
