About the role
- Representing U.S. Bank auto and specialty (Marine/RV) inventory at physical (or remote) auctions
- Exercise sound judgment and have decision-making authority that can impact the business unit
- Maintain effective relationships and have open communication with auction vendors which is crucial to U.S. Bank’s remarketing efforts
- Responsible for physically inspecting each unit and verifying all auction service levels are being followed
- Providing accurate reporting and auditing of auction expenses for each sale
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically five to seven years of relevant experience
- Advanced knowledge of product marketing, client service issues, and organization operations
- Strong marketing and business development/sales skills
- Well-developed negotiation and decision-making skills
- Ability to creatively resolve complex problems with general guidance
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Effective interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel
- Minimum of 5 years car and auction related experience
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze and problem solve
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Working knowledge of MMR and JD Power pricing platforms
- Working knowledge of Auto IMS
