About the role

  • Representing U.S. Bank auto and specialty (Marine/RV) inventory at physical (or remote) auctions
  • Exercise sound judgment and have decision-making authority that can impact the business unit
  • Maintain effective relationships and have open communication with auction vendors which is crucial to U.S. Bank’s remarketing efforts
  • Responsible for physically inspecting each unit and verifying all auction service levels are being followed
  • Providing accurate reporting and auditing of auction expenses for each sale

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically five to seven years of relevant experience
  • Advanced knowledge of product marketing, client service issues, and organization operations
  • Strong marketing and business development/sales skills
  • Well-developed negotiation and decision-making skills
  • Ability to creatively resolve complex problems with general guidance
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Effective interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel
  • Minimum of 5 years car and auction related experience
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze and problem solve
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Working knowledge of MMR and JD Power pricing platforms
  • Working knowledge of Auto IMS
