About the role
- Build and grow bank partner relationships, resulting in consistent referral production
- Develop profitable new business account relationships and increase profitability from existing accounts by selling Merchant Services (Visa/MC/Discover/American Express processing) to Small/Medium Size businesses
- Identify business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products, and services
- Learn and develop expert-level knowledge of company products and services
- Present to prospective clients informing them of the benefits of using the organization\'s products and services
- Implement and maintain an effective referral network and call program to promote sales
- Daily utilization and updating of Salesforce as a CRM tool
- Receive guidance and training in a remote environment and achieve daily objectives as set forth by your manager
Requirements
- Bachelor\'s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Two to three years of relevant sales experience
- Ability to travel
- No experience with Merchant Services required; strong sales experience and willingness to learn
- Daily utilization and updating of Salesforce as a CRM tool
- Ability to manage bank partner relationships and referral networks
- Expert knowledge of product marketing, client service issues and organization operations (preferred)
- Excellent marketing, business development/sales and negotiating skills (preferred)
- Ability to creatively resolve complex problems with general guidance (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills (preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously (preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills (preferred)
- Working knowledge of Salesforce (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (preferred)
