U.S. Bank Global Fund Services (GFS) Regulatory Administration Paralegal role assisting fund clients with preparation and maintenance of SEC registration statements and related filings
Prepare regulatory filings (Forms N-1A, N-2, Schedule 14A, Form N-14) using Wdesk; coordinate with internal colleagues and external clients to incorporate changes
Plan and prepare for client board and shareholder meetings; coordinate, draft, and distribute documents, communications, resolutions, board meeting minutes and proxy statements
Project management for deadlines; develop and implement department processes and policies; train and mentor new paralegals
Work directly with internal supervisors, business lines, external fund counsel, compliance officers, external auditors, investment advisers; maintain confidentiality
Primary duties accomplished according to timelines created, monitored and maintained by Paralegals; hybrid/flexible schedule with in-office expectation of 3+ days/week
Requirements
Paralegal certification from an accredited program, or equivalent degree or experience
Energetic self-starter with strong organizational and proofreading skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both oral and written)
Above average drafting/writing skills
Resourcefulness in problem-solving
Ability to establish priorities and work concurrently on a variety of projects
High-level understanding of Microsoft applications including Word and Excel
Ability to adapt to new software and processes
Ability to work well independently and as part of a group
Strong general computer skills including excellent typing skills
Associate’s degree is preferred
Occasional evening or weekend work may be required during peak periods
