About the role

  • You develop AI models and neural networks that detect critical points in water networks.
  • You analyze sensor data, geospatial data and images to make risks visible at an early stage.
  • You apply generative AI to simulate solution approaches and optimize infrastructure.
  • You develop ML pipelines and models in Python and work with modern AI frameworks.
  • You support the development of data models for sustainable water supply.
  • You participate in short team meetings and work closely with various departments.

Requirements

  • You are studying Computer Science, Data Science, Geo-Informatics or a related field.
  • You have experience with Python and neural networks (PyTorch, TensorFlow or similar).
  • You have an interest in sustainability, water management or smart-city applications.
  • You work in a structured, independent and solution-oriented manner.
  • Ideally, you can present initial GitHub projects, commits or your own repositories.
  • You are keen to take on responsibility and try out new technologies.
  • You have very good German and English language skills.
