Civil Engineer

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of airport civil infrastructure projects, including runways, taxiways, aprons, grading, drainage, utilities, and landside improvements.
• Prepare and oversee detailed engineering designs, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Utilize Autodesk Civil 3D for surface modeling, grading design, corridor development, and drawing production.
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, AC 150 standards, TSA requirements, and applicable state and local agency criteria (TxDOT Aviation Division and local municipalities).
• Provide technical oversight, mentor junior staff, and conduct quality reviews to ensure design excellence.
• Serve as a client-facing representative of TYLin, building strong relationships with airport authorities such as DFW Airport, Dallas Love Field, and regional municipal airports.
• Support proposal preparation, technical narratives, fee development, and client presentations.
• Contribute to strategic growth initiatives across the Texas aviation market.
• Support or lead scope development, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated aviation solutions.
• Provide construction-phase services including RFI responses, submittal reviews, and field observations.
