About the role
- Support Project Managers regarding contract documents, change orders and other modifications
- Address overdue WIP and Accounts Receivables
- Understand and interpret project contracts and billing terms
- Participate in project kick-off meetings
- Prepare and review Project setup modification forms
- Train Project Accounting Assistant/Billers
- Set up and review new project billing terms
- Prepare and review final invoice package
- Communicate project variances and resolution of issues
- Review all sub-consultant invoices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3+ years project cost accounting experience
- Experience in Architecture/Engineering consulting industry highly desired
- Proven experience managing medium to large scale projects
- Deltek Vision software knowledge is a plus
- Prevailing Wage knowledge and experience a plus
- Excellent 360-degree communication skills
- Strong commitment to innovation and ethical standards
- Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse team
