About the role
- Manage and update Never Out of Stock (NOOS) products, continually refining forecasts and stock flows based on trade performance and evolving business priorities.
- Monitor stock availability across all regions and channels, preparing and communicating weekly out-of-stock reports that highlight risks and recommend actions to prevent under- or over-stocking issues.
- Communicate daily trade performance to the Merchandise Planner and key stakeholders, capturing sales against plan, key drivers, and emerging trends.
- Support seasonal planning by preparing historical analysis and data required for range reviews.
- Track and analyse the performance of new product launches, reviewing early indicators, velocity, channel performance, and regional patterns.
- Perform size curve analysis to ensure size forecasts are accurate and to guide sizing decisions for new product launches.
- Maintain SKU-level reports and dashboards to support trade decisions, forecasting, and stock management.
- Complete ad hoc analysis requested by the Merchandise Planner or key stakeholders, presenting findings clearly and proactively.
- Collaborate closely with the production team to adjust purchase orders based on forecasting insights and guidance from the Merchandise Planner.
- Ensure system accuracy by maintaining correct SKU data, hierarchy, costing, and category structures across planning tools and other internal systems.
Requirements
- BS in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Logistics Management.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in merchandise planning, ideally in an FMCG or retail/eCommerce environment.
- Exposure to forecasting and inventory management.
- Experience with range planning, OTB support, or NOOS management is advantageous but not essential.
- Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to work confidently with large datasets, build complex reports, and maintain dashboards.
- Strong numeracy and analytical capability, with the ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations.
- Highly organised and adaptable, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident communicator who can present data clearly and work cross-functionally.
- Comfortable working with high SKU counts and high-volume data.
