About the role

  • Build, customize, and maintain Shopify B2C (and future B2B) storefronts, ensuring fast, consistent, and user-friendly experiences.
  • Manage third-party integrations (e.g., Google Merchant Center, Elevar, marketing pixels) for smooth performance and scalability.
  • Set up and optimize tracking systems (GA4, GTM, attribution tools) for accurate data and reporting.
  • Collaborate with marketing on CRO efforts—A/B testing, funnel optimization, and heatmap analysis.
  • Maintain QA processes (bug tracking, version control, rollback) for stable site performance and improve site speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness to boost traffic and sales across regions.
  • Test and implement AI tools (e.g., chatbots, product recommendations, visual search) using A/B testing.
  • Ensure global compliance (GDPR, WCAG, FTC) across all storefronts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience as a Shopify Developer, with at least 1 year using **Shopify Plus**.
  • Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid, APIs, checkout customisation, and theme development.
  • Solid front-end development skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
  • Experience managing third-party app integrations and reporting/tracking tools (e.g. Elevar, Google ecosystem).
  • Proven track record with CRO methodologies and tools, including measurable improvements to conversion rates.
  • Familiarity with multi-region Shopify stores (multi-currency, multi-language) and global e-commerce operations.
