About the role

  • Develop category product portfolio strategy and yearly NPD roadmap ride on overall marketing strategy
  • Independent NPD project management (Cost, product performance and timing). Work with multi-functional team to achieve the NPD target
  • Oversee category business performance and proactive to define opportunity and action plan to grow the business via innovation and renovation.
  • Strong understanding of consumer insights into the development of new ideas, products and consumer promotions, in line with market trend.
  • Implement in-depth marketing intelligence to understand the target market, customer segmentation, our opportunities, our competitors, customer purchase behaviour. Understand market segment trend and able to translate the future trend and market growth opportunities to the product strategy
  • End to end lead IMC launch plan for NPD project, and work closely with communication, finance, sales and trade marketing team to execute and monitor launch activities after launch.
  • Brand health / sales performance tracking and analysis.

Requirements

  • 6+ years working experience in Food and beverage FMCG industry is preferred
  • Solid and hands on experiences in NPD, holistic lead successful NPD launch and brand management.
  • Own category business result, track record to lead portfolio plan on both innovation, renovation and consumer promotion, and delivered good business performance.
  • Business English for both oral and written
  • Ability to generate insight – familiar with tools and techniques to generate insights, identify insights that will generate commercial gain within the business; familiar with AI tools is preferred.
  • Data gathering -understand the process for briefing, commissioning and debriefing research and take actions based on the results, confidently set research objectives.
  • Strategic thinking: have clear market insight, product insight and brand insight and business objective to develop a clear strategic brand development plan.
  • Familiar about NPD process and have ability to manage NPD project and product portfolio
  • Ability to develop effective marketing plan to develop short term result and build long term brand assets.
  • Good Communication and presentation skill to influence the business partners
  • Good leadership and collaborative spirit to drive work to be done among cross functional team. Work under pressure. Good business sense and sensitive to consumer feedback and market dynamics
