About the role
- Establishes and maintains a positive working relationship with Operations Team in overseeing property-based accounting processes
- Monitors labor, costs and expenses, making recommendations as needed for improvement
- Assists property General Manager to monitor Guest Ledgers, Accounts Receivables and credit processes
- Assists in monthly forecasts with Regional Directors of Operations
- Manages hotel cash flow, implement strategies to keep a positive cash flow
- Conduct hotel audits as needed
- Communicate and work with Owners
- Complete cash and balance sheet reconciliations
- Issue timely, accurate and complete financial statements
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-3 years experience managing a multi-state hotel portfolio
- Minimum of 3 years experience managing a staff of accounting professions
- Hospitality experience preferred but not required
- 4-year college degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, Advance Degree preferred
- Proven problem solving skills
