Administration

• Prepare change documentation, including change directives, contemplated change orders, and site instructions.
• Review and respond to Request for Information (RFI’s).
• Review submittals including shop drawings, material samples, and product datasheets to ensure alignment with contract documents.
• Identify and communicate potential issues and inconsistencies in drawings, specifications, contracts, and site conditions to the Project Manager, offering preliminary solutions.
• Maintain current knowledge of building codes, by-laws, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with the latest standards.

Contract Administrator

• Lead the project team during the contract administration phase, providing direction and guidance to ensure deliverables are accurate, complete, and aligned with design intent and project requirements.
• Oversee the contract administration phase, ensuring meticulous oversight of submittal reviews, RFI (Request for Information) and change management, payment certification, project closeout, and active participation in OAC (Owner Architect Contractor) meetings and site visits.
• Conduct site visits to perform limited general reviews, mock-up reviews, deficiency walkthroughs, and occupancy reviews.
• Attend Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) and other site meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination.
• Lead discussions to resolve issues efficiently and in accordance with contract documents.
• Act as the primary point of contact during the contract administration phase for clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to establish a comprehensive work plan, monitor, and manage project financials during the construction phase.
• Create a supportive and engaging environment offering guidance and constructive feedback to your team.
• Ensure they are well-equipped with the resources and direction needed to successfully meet project deliverables.
