About the role

  • Sources candidates for high volume position openings using employment websites and internal applicant tracking system.
  • Conducts job board key word searches, works applicants from posted ads and other sources via cold calling, emailing, and texting, as well as planning and attending career fairs and networking.
  • Develops and maintains a pipeline of candidates for assigned positions.
  • Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Teams with hiring managers to determine plans to identify candidates, including applicant tracking database searches, job board key word searches & phone/web mining.
  • Screens and interviews applicants and conducts candidate reference checks.
  • Documents and communicates employment recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Generates recruitment status reports.
  • Provides cross-functional support within the recruitment team as needed.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting outreach sessions.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required
  • Minimum 3 years of recruiting required, minimum of 1 year sales experience may be considered.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP, preferred
  • SHRMs Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential, a plus
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking System is a plus
