About the role
- Sources candidates for high volume position openings using employment websites and internal applicant tracking system.
- Conducts job board key word searches, works applicants from posted ads and other sources via cold calling, emailing, and texting, as well as planning and attending career fairs and networking.
- Develops and maintains a pipeline of candidates for assigned positions.
- Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Teams with hiring managers to determine plans to identify candidates, including applicant tracking database searches, job board key word searches & phone/web mining.
- Screens and interviews applicants and conducts candidate reference checks.
- Documents and communicates employment recommendations to hiring managers.
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Generates recruitment status reports.
- Provides cross-functional support within the recruitment team as needed.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting outreach sessions.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required
- Minimum 3 years of recruiting required, minimum of 1 year sales experience may be considered.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP, preferred
- SHRMs Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential, a plus
- Experience with Applicant Tracking System is a plus
