About the role
- Manage Regional Sales Directors and/or Regional Sales Representatives
- Achieve annual new business sales, net growth & reenrollment objectives
- Generate new business opportunities by leveraging existing relationships
- Review assigned RSD/RSRs’ RFPs and proposals
- Maintain primary relationship with key/high level producers
- Train, coach and develop RSDs and/or RSRs
- Monitor and report on competition
- Actively utilize Salesforce.com for reporting, forecasting, and activity management
Requirements
- Thorough, expert knowledge of voluntary/worksite products
- Sales experience with Voluntary Benefits and VBS product portfolio
- Proven ability to establish and maintain mutually respectful relationships
- Possesses superb interpersonal and communications skills
- Willingness and ability to travel one third of the time
- Two or more years’ experience in sales management (Preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in a business related area (Preferred)
- Successful achievement of sales training course(s) (Preferred)
- Industry recognized professional designation(s) (Preferred)
- Working knowledge of PCs, Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint software (Preferred)
- Working knowledge of voluntary/worksite administration including premium billing and administration (Preferred)
