About the role

  • Design, build, and maintain internal developer platforms and infrastructure that support high-scale microservices and serverless systems (AWS ECS, Lambda, Terraform, etc.)
  • Partner with engineering teams to improve deployment pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform)
  • Optimize observability: set up and improve monitoring, alerting, and logging (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
  • Improve systems reliability and incident response (SLOs, SLIs, on-call processes, chaos testing)
  • Manage infrastructure as code and reduce manual operations across environments
  • Contribute to platform security with IAM best practices, secret management, and supply chain protections
  • Support data services scaling (Postgres, Redis, S3), and help productionize AI/ML models through efficient deployment workflows

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or similar roles
  • Strong AWS expertise (ECS, Lambda, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, etc.); knowledge of GCP or Azure is a bonus
  • Proficiency with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation)
  • Experience automating CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD)
  • Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
  • Skilled in scripting with Python, Bash, or Go
  • Understanding of monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, Loki)
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps best practices is a plus (e.g., SAST, DAST, SBOMs)
