About the role

  • Responsible to participate in, influence and lead the group execution of Business initiatives related to retention and optimization into the credit union marketplace
  • Proactively assess and monitor relevant credit union marketplace trends; bring new ideas, assess opportunities and develop roadmap of how to further elevate our marketing through credit unions
  • Build consultative working relationships with internal and external business partners; challenge business assumptions and establish an effective fact-based decision-making process
  • Utilize effective project management, business process management, team building and change management to execute and achieve business results
  • Assemble and lead cross functional teams, as needed, to accomplish business objectives . Team composition and duration will vary depending on Specific Business area program initiative requirements
  • Collaborate with business partners to define objectives, success measures, and roles and responsibilities for on-going success
  • Translate initiatives into deliverables for our sales team and credit unions for on-going success of business area programs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing or related field required
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • 8 years related experience
  • 5 years+ experience in financial services or affinity marketing
  • 5 years+ experience effectively leading teams or projects with significant change impact, multiple dependencies within and across organizational boundaries
  • Proven ability to lead and direct in a matrix environment, including the leadership of cross-functional teams, to produce results
  • Strong ability to influence at multiple levels within the organization and demonstrated ability to collaborate with others
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve positive results through influence, negotiation and change management
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills; strong problem-solving skills.
