Salary
💰 $90,000 - $130,000 per year
About the role
- Help manage and coordinate construction trades and subcontractors, ensuring work aligns with plans, specifications, and approved submittals
- Maintain project schedules (master schedule, six week look ahead, etc.), track long lead items, and distribute schedules to trades/vendors
- Assist in cost tracking, reviewing subcontractor/vendor change orders, and preparing owner & subcontractor change orders
- Oversee document management: maintain current plans/specs, process RFIs, submittals, sketches, revisions, and quality control checklists
- Support the Project Manager in conducting regular meetings (owner, trade, internal), coordinating deliveries, reviewing invoices/requisitions, and site logistics
- Assist with project close out: gather warranties, operation & maintenance manuals, as builts, attic stock, ensure punch lists are addressed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture / Engineering, Business Management, or a closely related field OR ~5 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
- Able to use or learn MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam (or similar tools)
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (with trades, vendors, clients, design teams)
- Ability to oversee document control and maintain compliance with standards (internal controls, safety, etc.)
- Prior experience in municipal / permitting processes (nice to have)
- Familiarity with construction close out documentation (as builts, warranties, attic stock) (nice to have)
- Previous work with large scale general contracting or multi trade projects (nice to have)
- Experience using or managing site safety programs, site access protocols (nice to have)
