About the role
- Support attorneys with substantive litigation tasks in product liability, consumer fraud, and other complex disputes
- Monitor and manage court deadlines, file documents through ECF, and conduct PACER legal research
- Draft pleadings, notices, motions, and prepare deposition materials, exhibits, and summaries
- Track and organize discovery, including document productions, and help develop case strategy
- Coordinate communications with courts, external counsel, experts, and clients
- Assist with trial preparation and attend depositions, hearings, or trials as needed
Requirements
- Paralegal certificate (or equivalent work experience) plus a 2 or 4 year degree (or equivalent professional experience)
- Proficiency with legal research platforms (e.g., Westlaw, PACER)
- Strong critical thinking, organization, and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and take ownership of projects
- Tech-savvy and adaptable to new systems or software
- Flexibility to travel for trial and work occasional overtime during periods of high demand
