About the role

  • Generate new business opportunities and manage a portfolio of existing commercial accounts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in a niche book of business
  • Meet established sales quotas on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Utilize Trucordia sales and marketing tools to execute cold calls, in-person appointments, and prospect presentations to close new business
  • Act as subject matter expert to master chosen area of focus
  • Continually manage a book of business to support high renewal rates
  • Collaborate with Client Service to analyze renewal business and place new business accounts
  • Follow Trucordia sales methodologies and best practices, including proper use of Trucordia tools and sales management platform
  • Work closely with clients to identify insurance needs, provide tailored solutions, and offer ongoing support and service

Requirements

  • Experience in Commercial Lines Insurance
  • Exceptional Communication & Interpersonal Skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • State-issued Property and Casualty Insurance Producer License
  • 4-year Degree in Business Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing or related area of study
  • Preferred but not required: 2-5 years in an insurance sales role
  • Proficiency with professional programs such as Microsoft Suite and Salesforce
  • Demonstrated skills in analytics and internal/external communication
