About the role
- Generate new business opportunities and manage a portfolio of existing commercial accounts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in a niche book of business
- Meet established sales quotas on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Utilize Trucordia sales and marketing tools to execute cold calls, in-person appointments, and prospect presentations to close new business
- Act as subject matter expert to master chosen area of focus
- Continually manage a book of business to support high renewal rates
- Collaborate with Client Service to analyze renewal business and place new business accounts
- Follow Trucordia sales methodologies and best practices, including proper use of Trucordia tools and sales management platform
- Work closely with clients to identify insurance needs, provide tailored solutions, and offer ongoing support and service
Requirements
- Experience in Commercial Lines Insurance
- Exceptional Communication & Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- State-issued Property and Casualty Insurance Producer License
- 4-year Degree in Business Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing or related area of study
- Preferred but not required: 2-5 years in an insurance sales role
- Proficiency with professional programs such as Microsoft Suite and Salesforce
- Demonstrated skills in analytics and internal/external communication
