Building/generating a strong pipeline of potential clients through proactive prospecting, networking, and marketing efforts.
Present customized insurance solutions to meet clients' specific needs including but not limited to homeowners, auto, umbrella, earthquake, and personal articles floaters.
Establish and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor for their personal and family insurance needs.
Leverage industry knowledge to keep clients informed on market trends, emerging risks, and changes in regulations that may affect their insurance needs.
Prepare and submit regular progress reports on sales performance and account activities.
Requirements
Valid Property and Casualty License in the state in which you're applying for
Experience in personal lines sales and/or service
Outgoing and energetic personality where you enjoy going out and finding leads on your own.
Ability to work well under pressure in a team environment and effectively prioritizing risks to manage concurrent workflow.
Possess excellent interpersonal skills, including listening, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
Must have a strong understanding of homeowners and personal auto coverage.
Must possess a developing knowledge of personal insurance markets to place new business and understand the supplemental insurance marketplace.
