About the role

  • Configure and maintain Epicor financial modules: General Ledger, AP, AR, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, and Financial Reporting
  • Set up and maintain chart of accounts, posting rules, fiscal calendars, and accounting controls
  • Ensure accurate integration between operational modules and the general ledger
  • Identify automation opportunities and improve financial workflows within Epicor
  • Partner with Finance leadership to align configurations with GAAP and audit requirements
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, revenue recognition, and cost accounting
  • Act as the Epicor financial SME for internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs within Epicor or BI tools

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting Epicor Kinetic, E10 or Prophet 21 financial modules (Prophet 21 preferred, not required)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and ERP-driven workflows
  • Experience in multi-entity, multi-currency environments for distribution or manufacturing
  • Ability to translate financial requirements into effective ERP configurations
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • SQL and Epicor financial reporting experience
