About the role

  • Providing strategic regulatory advice during all stages of the project life cycle.
  • Coordinating inputs from multi-disciplinary technical teams for environmental assessments.
  • Leading or supporting the development of EA and permitting related applications and reports.
  • Managing communication and coordination between proponents, engineers, and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in environmental assessment, permitting, or regulatory advisory roles, ideally within a consulting environment.
  • Knowledge of provincial, territorial, and federal environmental legislation.
  • Experience coordinating and integrating inputs from multi-disciplinary technical teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide regulatory and permitting advice.
  • Strong technical writing and editing skills.
  • Experience working on complex infrastructure, mining, or transportation-related projects is an asset.
  • Project coordination or project management experience is an asset.
  • Interest and capability in client-facing work.
  • Broad understanding of environmental disciplines.
  • Professional designation (R.P.Bio.) is an asset.
