About the role
- Providing strategic regulatory advice during all stages of the project life cycle.
- Coordinating inputs from multi-disciplinary technical teams for environmental assessments.
- Leading or supporting the development of EA and permitting related applications and reports.
- Managing communication and coordination between proponents, engineers, and regulatory agencies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in environmental assessment, permitting, or regulatory advisory roles, ideally within a consulting environment.
- Knowledge of provincial, territorial, and federal environmental legislation.
- Experience coordinating and integrating inputs from multi-disciplinary technical teams.
- Demonstrated ability to provide regulatory and permitting advice.
- Strong technical writing and editing skills.
- Experience working on complex infrastructure, mining, or transportation-related projects is an asset.
- Project coordination or project management experience is an asset.
- Interest and capability in client-facing work.
- Broad understanding of environmental disciplines.
- Professional designation (R.P.Bio.) is an asset.
