About the role

  • Act as one of the primary technical authorities for the AECO UK Sales Engineering team
  • Support existing and new business bids and tenders
  • Deliver technical brilliance in pre-sales and post-sales environments
  • Conduct high-impact consultancy calls and software demonstrations for the Tekla portfolio
  • Partner with sales and marketing teams to develop compelling use cases, webinars, and technical materials
  • Act as an on-site technical expert at major industry events and conferences
  • Collaborate directly with product teams to communicate customer feedback and suggest critical product developments or improvements
  • Provide expert technical support and best-practice advice to ensure customers achieve maximum ROI from their construction software

Requirements

  • Proven experience working within the construction industry with a deep understanding of structural design modelling
  • Hands-on knowledge of structural design software, preferably Tekla TSD and Tekla Tedds however equivalents are welcome
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to transmit complex information accurately to diverse audiences
  • Foundational understanding of the sales cycle and a proactive, self-motivated approach to collaborative work
  • Proven track record in a technical pre-sales environment specifically within the AECO sector
  • Established ability to build strong relationships between technical and commercial stakeholders
