About the role

  • Collaborate with software development and architecture teams to provide critical input on design decisions
  • Develop sophisticated automation tools and frameworks for deployment, monitoring, and error budget tracking
  • Establish and measure Service Level Objectives (SLOs)
  • Conduct advanced redundancy and failover testing to meet uptime standards
  • Manage security posture within AWS GovCloud, incorporating corporate best practices

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience managing infrastructure within AWS or Azure public cloud environments
  • Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience) with solid understanding of networking, computing, and storage
  • Comfortable with Windows and Linux system administration
  • Scripting skills in Python, Powershell, Bash, or Perl
  • Familiarity with application operations, including Incident Management, Change Management, and Capacity Management
  • Experience with configuration management and IaC tools like Ansible or Terraform (Bonus)
  • Familiarity with container orchestration using ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes (Bonus)
  • Experience with observability and monitoring stacks like Sumo Logic, Grafana, or PRTG (Bonus)
  • Knowledge of SAML integration and Active Directory/LDAP services (Bonus)
