About the role

  • Support the operations of the Trimble AECO Sector with a focus on forecasting, variance analysis, modeling, and reporting of monthly and quarterly results.
  • Serve as a trusted business advisor for high level leaders, providing financial guidance and support to facilitate informed decision making.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to business stakeholders to optimize resource and capital allocation and bring action to inefficiencies.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline financial processes, drive efficiency, and improve data and forecast accuracy.
  • Partner with Finance and Operations teams to design data-driven insights that support cross-functional business decisions.
  • Experiment with and apply modern data/AI tools (e.g., predictive analytics, anomaly detection, AI-assisted reconciliations) to improve processes.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant finance or accounting role.
  • Experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) capacity, supporting business leaders within a SaaS, software, tech startup, or high-growth technology environment, is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with MS/Google Office Suite (Excel/Google Sheets, Word, and PowerPoint/Google Slides) and a basic understanding of US GAAP.
  • Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a self-starter mentality and the ability to focus on details while also thinking at a higher level.
  • Experience using data to generate insights for various teams (Finance and Operations).
  • Proficient in applying modern data/AI tools such as predictive analytics and anomaly detection.
  • Experienced in partnering with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals and improve processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance and/or Accounting
