About the role
- Ensure Compliance: Independently perform review and design of critical accounting processes and assess Financial Internal Controls.
- Strategic Problem Solving: Critically analyze accounting discrepancies and financial results, proactively investigating root causes of anomalies.
- Technical Leadership: Serve as a technical mentor, providing specialized support to junior team members and leading cross-functional projects.
- Audit Management: Manage internal and external audits, acting as the department's technical focal point.
- Systems Expertise: Reconcile data across systems and use advanced ERP systems to optimize workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Advanced English (B2) for communication with global teams.
- Solid experience in month-end close, financial analysis, reconciliations and auditing.
- Knowledge of LALUR calculations - IRPJ/CSLL.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and knowledge of Oracle.
- Experience with international accounting (US GAAP or IFRS) is a plus.
- MBA in Finance, Controllership or Auditing is a plus.
