About the role
- Dive into development using Java and SQL supporting Vue/React frontend web applications
- Create customer-centric solutions, translating business requirements into technical designs
- Write clear, efficient, and modular code using widely used libraries and techniques
- Design, develop, and implement innovative programs that cater to customer needs
- Collaborate directly with stakeholders and customers to deliver exceptional technical solutions
- Contribute to collective decision-making on sprint priorities and Agile processes
- Showcase work and promote understanding within the team
- Add high-value features, ensure quality, and expand audience reach
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or related qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Relevant experience may be acceptable in lieu of a degree
- Demonstrated expertise in software development
- Comfortable reading, altering, and designing solutions in Java, C#, .Net, JavaScript (Vue/React) and Python
- SQL skills and knowledge of relational databases at a technical level
- Good communication skills, a desire to learn and be an excellent team player
- Previous experience working in an Agile environment and leading teams to deliver projects
- Legally entitled to work in New Zealand (only applicants who are legally entitled to work in New Zealand will be considered)
