• Lead and assist with functional builds and deployments across non-production and production environments using Jenkins.
• Orchestrate the installation, hardening, testing, and ongoing maintenance of RHEL 7/8/9 & Windows-based systems, with a focus on continuous improvement and security enhancement.
• Automate Application server deployment for Pega and Tomcat Web Server using Ansible in addition to apply OS patches on RHEL 7/8/9 across multiple environments introducing efficiency gains and minimizing manual intervention for increased productivity.
• Provide dedicated support to PEGA developers, Java developers, and DBAs while addressing application upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Application and RHEL OS issues.
• Analyzing security requirements (Compliance, Standards, etc.) and applying latest security patches to ensure that each resource or system has the proper resources allocated to it.
• Leverage Splunk, Grafana, Ansible, and extensive experience to manage and enhance Java Based applications as well as system monitoring, analytics, and automation.

• Collaborates with the Bureau staff and DevSecOps teams to contribute to the System Security Plan, Security Architecture Documentation, Accreditation Boundary documentation, FIPS Categorization, and a continuous Security Monitoring Strategy
• Develops a strategic approach to security testing that best aligns with Bureau procedures and security policy
• Proactively identifies security risks, vulnerabilities, and other concerns early to facilitate remediation
• Manage and control implementation status and security posture throughout the system life cycle

• Assigned to one of three focus areas: Full-Stack Development, Machine Learning/AI, or DevOps Engineering based on skills and interests
• Full-Stack: develop and maintain web applications using Node.js and Angular; participate in code reviews and testing
• ML/AI: build and train machine learning models; analyze data and extract insights to improve product features
• DevOps: assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines; support cloud infrastructure and deployment processes; monitor application performance and reliability
• Contribute to real public-facing applications and develop features used directly by customers
• Collaborate with team members and work alongside experienced professionals; participate in continuous learning and professional development
• Internship duration 12 weeks with initial one-week onsite visit and 2-3 days onsite at program end
