Be the RL6 system resource for the hospital’s electronic incident reporting system
Maintain the RL6 application, support system upgrades/optimizations, application changes, and testing activities
Provide RL6 system training to new users and frontline staff upon request
Extract, analyze and interpret RL6 incident reports data, Emergency Code data, and other organizational datasets to generate routine and ad-hoc reports
Evaluate the integrity, quality, and security of RL6 data systems and provide recommendations for improvement
Perform regular data scrubbing and validation to ensure dataset accuracy and resolve anomalies
Liaise with the RL6 vendor and IS subject matter experts to optimize system usability and stability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, programs, and committees on safety incident data requests
Support planning, coordination, communications, and engagement for departmental priorities
Support development and dissemination of Enterprise Risk Management reports
Assist with medical malpractice claims management and coordinate receipt of legal documents when needed
Manage product and practice alerts and recalls and act as project coordinator for key departmental priorities
Support data analysis and prepare presentation materials (including Monthly RL6 report) for program leadership, senior management, and Board of Directors
Requirements
A bachelor degree is required
Minimum of 1-3 year of risk management or related experience strongly preferred
Minimum of 1-3 year of healthcare industry or related experience strongly preferred
Prior experience with the RL6 Application is an asset
Excellent communication skills - ability to articulate analytical results and tell a story
