• Under general supervision and reporting to the Director of HR and Recruiting, The HR Manager assists the Director in promoting a positive and responsive service-oriented department for our primarily remote workforce in over 29 states and 4 countries.
• The HR Manager is responsible for administering all activities of the department, including benefits administration, performance management, employee relations, training and development, policies and procedures, workers’ compensation administration, and manages the recruiting and onboarding activities
• Establishes, maintains, and updates payroll records;
• Opens and establishes new state and country entities for new payrolls as required;
• Electronically generates and files completed onboarding materials;
• Processes payroll data reports and other specialized reports;
• Creates new reports with system as required;
• Assists with all HR processes including but not limited to virtual new hire orientations, performance management, worker’s compensation, discipline, terminations, etc.;
• Administers onboarding processes, including electronic generation and maintenance of new hire paperwork, new hire data entry into payroll system and Virtual New Hire Orientations;
• Assists in analyzing complex information, researching, and developing solutions to complex issues;
• Performs data entry and updates within all systems;
• Responds to UI, STD, and LTD inquiries from various states;
• Maintains electronic and hard copy employee files and HR documents
• Build talent pipelines for current and future job openings
• Manage the recruiting process from identification to onboarding of selected candidates
• Manage and train a team of recruiters and support staff
• Help coordinate pre-hire assessment procedures – drug testing/background check/Excel/vision test for quality candidates
• Work with hiring managers to identify staffing needs
• Work with all members of staffing team to develop and implement staffing plans and activities
• Review resumes for appropriate skills, experience, and knowledge for current openings
• Conduct interviews with candidates
• Assume primary responsibility for management of the Applicant Tracking System (JAZZ)
• Maintain well organized documentation of all candidates, searches, interview notes and other recruitment activities

Human Resources Manager

Procurement

• Coordinates all activities related to procurement of a commodity beginning with intent to purchase through delivery
• Analyzes the requirements of the commodity, including preliminary specifications, preferred supplier, and date commodity is needed
• Issues RFQ’s and PO’s and/or IDWA’s in accordance with company and government regulations.
• Solicits and evaluates proposals for the requested commodity
• Investigates and/or interviews potential suppliers to determine if they meet the specified requirements
• Advises team members or management on the appropriate supplier to be used.
• Negotiates the lowest possible cost for the commodity balanced against the optimum quality and schedule needs
• Implements purchase contracts that comply with company and government regulations
• Assures that the commodity is delivered on schedule, at the negotiated price, and meets the quality standards of the company
• Maintains timely control of orders, amendments, shipping notices, and other documents to assure accurate retention of records
• Coordinates appropriate methods needed to distribute commodity in a cost-effective manner
• Other duties as assigned.

Procurement Specialist

Compliance

• Maintain and execute the import compliance program, including auditing cargo manifests, and communicating with shipping- and freight-forwarders
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, standards, regulations, and policies related to product safety across product categories
• Work closely with business partners to resolve issues and prevent violations as well as maintain and enforce the corporate product safety program
• Provide regulatory guidance to internal customers
• Manage daily import/export activities including interaction with customs brokers & freight forwarders
• Review potential exports to determine the proper export authorization
• Classify products for import & export, including, USML, ECCN, Harmonized Tariff Schedule codes and Country of Origin
• Interface with internal functions (i.e., Program Management, Supply Chain) to ensure all work processes are in compliance with U.S. trade regulations
• Draft and update procedures, instructions, forms, and templates
• Provide compliance trainings to internal customers
• Conduct investigations into potential compliance issues
• Conduct audits and risk assessments
• Collaborate with compliance team on various projects, conferences, audits, assessments, reports, etc.
• Provide guidance and assistance on a broad range of import/export compliance matters, including: Documentation, Export Licensing, Access Controls, Recordkeeping, Classification, Origin determination, Customs Valuation, Post Summary Corrections, Partner Government Agencies, Screening / KYC Incoterms
• Performs other duties as assigned

Aerospace Import/Export Compliance Specialist

Operations

• Build an organization including management and working teams, deployed within regional zones, to support TADRA’s business plan and objectives
• Deploy the necessary team to a wide range of commodity suppliers throughout the US and International
• Responsible for procedures, processes and Quality System development and implementation
• Participate in Business Development opportunities, including presentations, RFP responses and contract development
• Oversee training development and implementation across the organization
• Direct formal/informal problem-solving initiatives within the supply base
• Lead, motivate and coach a diverse set of quality engineers and managers tasked with exceeding customer requirements
• Design, implement and document procedures and process control, testing and inspection requirements and process improvement
• Establish and implement metrics (process capability, control charts, yield, for measuring effectiveness and to enable managers to make sound product quality decisions and planning
• Establish collection of analysis systems of statistical data to predict trends that will affect improvement of product quality
• Perform other related job duties as required
