About the role
- Manage day-to-day operations across assigned region, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and service standards
- Supervise and support sonographers, fostering a positive and high-performing team culture
- Perform ultrasound exams at least two (2) days per week to maintain clinical skills and support team integration
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including exam volumes, quality metrics, and patient satisfaction
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and coverage
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, regulatory standards, and internal policies
- Work closely with clinical, administrative, and executive teams to support strategic initiatives and continuous improvement
- Identify training needs and support professional development of team members
Requirements
- Current ARDMS or equivalent ultrasound certification required
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical ultrasound experience
- At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare or imaging services environment
- Proven experience managing multi-site operations is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in performing a wide range of ultrasound exams
- Strong understanding of clinical protocols, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance
- Familiarity with ultrasound equipment, PACS, and EMR systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams across multiple locations
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate effectively
- Ability to analyze operational data and implement process improvements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
