About the role

  • Maintain and update monthly financial models (P&L, ARR, KPIs, deferred revenue).
  • Ensure data accuracy across entities, currencies, and reporting files.
  • Update datasets used for dashboards and management reporting.
  • Build and optimize automated Google Sheets reports (ARRAYFORMULA, QUERY, IMPORTRANGE, Apps Script).
  • Develop dynamic dashboards for finance, sales, and operations.
  • Convert manual reports into automated workflows.
  • Manage and improve folder structures, naming conventions, version control, and archiving.
  • Maintain corporate templates (reports, trackers, SOPs).
  • Record routine accounting entries (prepayments, accruals, expense classifications).
  • Organise invoices, receipts, contracts, and financial documents.
  • Maintain trackers (AP, AR, vendors, contracts, payments).
  • Prepare data for accounting integrations (Xero/QuickBooks/ERP).
  • Enter recurring/simple transactions and perform basic reconciliations.
  • Maintain clear audit trails and documentation.
  • Maintain customer, product, contract, and transaction databases.
  • Consolidate and clean data from multiple sources.
  • Ensure alignment between Google Sheets, CRM, and finance tools.
  • Prepare data for month-end close and internal reviews.
  • Assist with variance analysis, KPIs, and financial summaries.
  • Support development of new tools, trackers, and dashboards.
  • Maintain SOPs related to data handling, reporting, and accounting support.
  • Ensure compliance with access rights, naming policies, and version control.

Requirements

  • Advanced Google Sheets skills (ARRAYFORMULA, QUERY, Apps Script preferred).
  • Strong understanding of data structures and file organisation.
  • Basic accounting knowledge (debits/credits, accruals, prepayments, GL).
  • Experience with BI tools (Looker Studio or Power BI) is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with accounting tools (Xero, QuickBooks, ERP, Asana) is a plus.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented.
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple data sources consistently.
  • Proactive and structured problem-solver.
