About the role
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online
- Enter and categorize transactions from bank feeds and manual sources
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Support payroll-related entries and documentation
- Work with spreadsheets (Excel) for financial tracking and reporting
- Assist with data organization and light financial analysis
- Communicate clearly and ask questions when clarification is needed
- Gradually take on additional administrative or operational tasks as trust and familiarity grow
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online
- Strong bookkeeping and financial data entry background
- Proficiency in Excel or similar spreadsheet tools
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable following structured processes and documentation
- Strong written communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to the firm’s workflows
- CPA or advanced bookkeeping background (Nice to Have)
- Experience supporting accounting firms or professional services businesses (Nice to Have)
- Exposure to payroll processing (Nice to Have)
- Experience working with US-based clients or firms (Nice to Have)
